Pre-cut grip tape. It comes shaped like the board. You peel it off, align it, and you're done, no trimming or excess. This is the option if you want to change it in two minutes and have it perfect the first time.
Uncut grip tape. You cut it to the size you want, so you can adjust it to your board and play with the shape if you like to customize your setup.
Which one to choose? If it's your first time changing the grip tape, go for the pre-cut. If you already have several boards or you like DIY, the uncut will be more beneficial for you.
